Zoom in on the Walk the traditions collection

A little zoom in on the Walk the traditions collection that I have been designing for Fabulous Goose.
The collection contains 3 patterns; Landscapes, Crossing and Stories.

The blankets are made of premium brushed cotton designed with a cultural diffusion of eclectic ethnic patterns and prints that allude to a story, an adventure, a journey. Loud geometric patterns convey a feeling of energy and dynamism symbolic of travel and the excitement of visiting new and foreign lands. These tribal inspired prints and motifs have been reworked for the aspiring modern day global nomad.
“On and on they flew, over the countryside parcelled out in patches of green and brown,
over roads and rivers, winding through the landscapes like strips of matte and glossy ribbon.”
(J.K. Rowling)

It is produced in the softest GOTS-certified organic cotton, and coloured with gentle, natural, non-toxic dyes.

In the last image you can see my mood board that I had next to me when I was drawing the new patterns. This is so important to me, I need some inspiration images next to me. They do not necessary relate direct to the drawing I make but give an atmosphere.
I am satisfied with the result and that the colours worked out well. I am so happy to work with Fabuloos Goose as they really try to have a well produced product. They stand for sustainability, security, safety, and overall decency of all there products.
